“ Arab Arafat , the most beloved of the Romanians” ,writes Adevărul , citing barometer data done by IMAS ,at its requirement, in February 2012.
According to these, the Undersecretary of State for Health trusted by over three quarters of Romanian. The newspaper shows that it is a record in the last two years, a record ascribed to the popularity gained by Raed Arafat after street protests.
Another aspect is pointed by Adevărul is the high level of reputation of Raed Arafat ,well above that held by President Traian Băsescu in January 2012. In addition, article says about a reluctance of Romanians towards the political class, as demonstrated by the presence on the second place in the barometer of the King Mihai to some politicians such as Victor Ponta, , Crin Antonescu or Mihai Răzvan Ungureanu.
