"The first Romanian-Hungarian crossroads of the past decade", we read the Romania Libera.
Romanian Government takes into account the Budapest Parliament chief’ proclaiming persona non grata because he arrived in Targu Mures ignoring the Romanian authorities’ demands. But the problems started when Fidesz came to power and turned into a "real cold war". What happens now contrasts with relations from the period when the Socialists were in power in Hungary, when the two governments held joint meetings and support each other in several cases.
Why did Laszlo Kover come in Romania? Adevarul says that "Fidesz seeks votes in Transylvania". Meanwhile he campaigns for the Hungarian Civic Party in several counties in Transylvania. Kover's arrival aroused also UDMR’s irritation, Hungarian party bypassed by the officials’ support.
Evenimentul Zilei says where are "the most heated battles of the local elections", "life and death". In Cluj, for instance, "the winner is decided to photography". This is not just about getting a term as mayor, said Evenimentul Zilei.
In the same paper we read: "Leu gives litmus test in two weeks", the day when the Greeks will decide not only the composition of Athens Parliament, but the fate of European currencies.
Same subject, in the Ziarul Financiar: BNR governor began the battle with those who expect an increase rate to 5 lei for one euro if Greece exits the currency union. The forecast of such a course "suffers" because in such a case, the U.S. dollar / euro goes even to 1.1, said Isarescu and implying that BNR will not sit idly by.
Also in Ziarul Financiar: "Oil fell with 24 percent in March, but gasoline prices went up with 2 percent". No local oil company announced any visible cheaper yet and the lion-dollar set aside a lot of the lower barrel.
"Guru Bivolaru changed his center" we find from Adevarul. He continues his activities in a temple from the outskirts of Paris, but argues that he is in Sweden in order to confuse the Romanian police who seeks him for trafficking and sexual offenses.
For at least seven years, no one tired to touch him. Meanwhile, MISA aggressively lobbies the European Parliament: wants to get the Parliaments’ signatures on letters complaining of the abuses they have suffered on account of the authorities.
Jurnalul Național reminds us that today is the hearing date in the "Quality Trophy" case, a "mammoth trial" with an unprecedented politically charging in the last 20 years due to the target.
