The problem of representation of Romania to the European Union summits, the effects of the results of local elections inside the opposition and change the leadership of TVR-are some of the topics in today's newspapers.
"The Parliament sends Victor Ponta to the European Council"-Jurnalul Naţional writes.
The publication gives details about the provisions of the Declaration proposed by USL and adopted by Parliament, concerning representation at meetings of the European Union, as well as about the reactions of the opposition and the Presidency on the decision.
Also, are noted the arguments of the representatives of USL for supporting this request-including being in normality for that, claims Prime Minister Victor Ponta, the president monopoly on our country's participation in the meetings of the Forum community was wrong and against the constitutional idea or European practice-added Jurnalul Național .
Under the title "Băsescu sends Ponta to put his hand on the book," Evenimentul Zilei reveals the reaction of President Traian Băsescu, following the decision that Parliament has taken to delegate the premier to go to the European Council on 28 June.
The head of State said, according to the newspaper, that politicians mistake the European Council with the European Union Council and announced that he will sustain today's press conference, in which he will present how the community forum works.
Adevărul submits widely "who won and who lost the local elections", outlining the new configuration policy at local level, as a result of elections held Sunday.
In the pages of the newspaper you can read more about the data on election results for County Councils, municipalities and local councils.
In the context of the results of the vote on Sunday, România Liberă comments: "It began the settlement of PDL failure reform or -implosion?"
