The newspaper reveals the strategy of Democratic-Liberals to boycott the elections on Sunday for the dismissal the head of State and expose the reasons invoked by PDL for this endeavour, including the breaches of USL in recent weeks as well as controversies concerning the referendum organizing.
In addition, Adevărul recalls Traian Bãsescu’s declarations on the subject of voting, chronologically, and refers that the PDL’s leader , Vasile Blaga, explained when Traian Bãsescu said he wanted that all citizens of Romania to participate in the vote, there was none of the USL’s measures taken,criticized by Democratic Liberals. In addition, the daily presents the causes of PDL ‘s strategy as well as the USL's reaction, which draws attention that "the gesture is anti".
Also Evenimentul Zilei discusses the topic and argues that "boycott referendum is an effective anti-fraud solution." The publication shows the events inside the PDL to yesterday's decision on boycott of elections at the end of the week, and outlines the expectations of Democratic-Liberals and the President suspended the referendum relating to validation and possible measures of USL, about which President Traian Băsescu has stated that "through various social-liberals maneuvers could fraud with about 10 percent of Sunday's vote. Evenimentul Zilei also states that Băsescu expects also a plan B from USL, namely "a third suspension."
