The dailies are mainly reporting information related to the President’s meetings with the leaders of the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) organizations in the county.
According to the Evenimentul Zilei, ‘Party’s or Governments’ leader, Emil Boc, was put in a tight spot both by Traian Băsescu and the Democratic Liberal Party.
The members of the aforementioned party assess alongside the President the costs of and the benefits from keeping or replacing the Prime Minister.
The România Liberă reveals: ‘replace the Prime Minister for checking the party’. The president is looking for a substitute for the Prime Minister while Emil Boc is about to keep its job as president of the Democratic Liberal Party.
‘The Democratic Liberal Party is looking for an independent prime minister’ according to the Adevărul which summed up that from Sunday evening until yesterday, Traian Băsescu had three secret meetings with the leaders of the Democratic Liberal Party organizations in the county in order to find out about the party’s intentions before the elections.
As for the possible substitute of Emil Boc, the Gândul headlines that ’Băsescu suggested Mugur Isărescu to replace Boc’.
Adrian Vasilescu, adviser of the National Bank’s Governor, asserted for the Adevărul that ‘the scenario between Isărescu and the Prime Minister was pointless’. Vasilescu emphasized that the National Bank of Romania was not involved in the political games.
‘Ethnobotanical drugs’ is another popular topic that appears in the dailies. These drugs go on being marketed as the Adevărul notices.
Despite the last week controls made by the policemen most herb stores kept on running after the police had left.
The Evenimentul Zilei brings out the result of a recent survey according to which teenagers are convinced about that nothing can happen to them if they ‘have a little bit of fun’ with these herbs.
The Ethnobotanical drugs have become the fun of poor pupils because in fancy high schools it is rather preferred marijuana.
Teenagers add that ‘drinking alcohol is out of fashion’ and that it is ‘cooler with spice’. That is so sad…
The Gândul advertises briefly that drug stores could be banned all over the country under a joint order given by many ministries.
We end with the Jurnalul Naţional which ascertains that the way towards mountain becomes a burden for the Government. Either for the driveway or for the railway the slow improvement cost us poor.
The improvement of the 31.07 or less miles of railway between Câmpina and Predeal has been lasting for four years as long as it lasted to improve only 62.14 miles of the DN1 (an important national road in Romania which links Bucharest with the northwestern part of the country).
