"Versions in pensions scandal" - writes România Liberă about the given solutions to solve the situation created by wrong calculation of retired people's contribution to Health Insurance . According to the newspaper, not returning of additionally uncharged money to become an advance of what the pensioners have to pay from now on – these are the versions supported by some Liberal-Democrats, while opposition believes that the situation has to be solved by returning the amounts payable in installments, so that USL deputies fined yesterday, within the Work and Health Committees, the ordinance through which was introduced the contribution of 5.5 percent for pensions over 740 lei.
Government seeks money to solve the problem – has announced the Prime Minister Mihai Razvan Ungureanu , speaking also of a possible reunification of the state employee salaries.
"Budgetary people, at a short distance from salaries in 2010" - supports Evenimentul Zilei and adds: "Until now, that is the main additional expense that government officials are willing to undertake in 2012 from the budget". The author mentions that between officials’ intention and wage increases effective decision lays an unknown - that data on the economy going in the first quarter, which may give a hint about how will be budget revenues.
The publication also notes the specialists’ opinion, who believes they can find solutions so that the eventual increasing of salaries will not majorly affect the budget. In respects of relaunching the expected consumption after the wage increasing, the economic analyst who was contacted by Evenimentul Zilei appreciated that the measure would have only a marginal effect because the additional funds will be targeted to debt, situation which will stabilize, however, a number of companies with receivables.
Under the heading "USL rings mobilization in Parliament", Jurnalul Naţional reveals: "PSD leader Victor Ponta, requires all parliamentarians to vote tomorrow the censure motion to shorten suffering Romanians". The newspaper presents the calculations that opposition has done about the result of vote motion and adds that "USL reinforces its chances with aid from parliamentarians". It is also exposed the internal political situation reflected by the foreign press, as well as the ruling coalition's expectations in connection with the vote tomorrow.
