The atmosphere in Parliament in the context of the debate on Friday of censure motion, how the Government will solve CAS 's problem paid by pensioners from incomes more than 740 lei and the reasons for which Romania is likely to be suspended from five operational programs to access European funds - are some of the subjects from the newspapers today, reviewed by Mirela Ursachi.
"Countdown starts for Ungureanu" - comments Jurnalul Naţional on debate and the vote on the censure motion, which takes place on Friday.
The publication reviews the discussions on setting up of this term, the motion content and also takes stock of PDL lawmakers who left the party to work in opposition.
Also, USL's objectives are dotted regarding the Government, if the motion passes and Ungureanu's executive will be dismissed.
"Maximum pressure on the Government. What happens with the pensioners’ money " -headlines România Liberă and adds: "after Constitutional Court decided on March 13 that the Government improperly charged the contribution to Health Insurance for over 2 million pensioners, at least 100,000 of them stormed the courts to recover their money. "
The avalanche of applications deposited by pensioners to courts in this respect has put the Government into a difficult situation - comments the newspaper, which reveals which are the two collectively viewpoints on the topic in PDL on money returning that was collected in addition.
Tomorrow, Constitutional Court will issue a decision also regarding the existence of the legal basis for retroactive granting of amounts illegally held from pensions.
However, the article notes the Minister of Labour and the Head of National Pensions Houses ’s point of view, in contrast to the opinion of a lawyer who believes that money can be recovered.
Under the heading "Code Red on European funds" Adevărul writes about the risk that Romania is supposed to be suspended from the five operational programs to access funds. The newspaper mentions what programs are about and what should do the authorities in Bucharest by the end of June to remedy the situation, and implicitly, to avoid the suspension programs.
Finally, Evenimentul Zilei reveals: "Romanians fooled with milk powder" - a common practice in our country – according to the head of National Authority for Consumer Protection(ANPC).
The alarm was pulled by the Minister of Agriculture, Stelian Fuia, who said that a lot of milk in stores is made from milk powder.
It seems that liquid milk is thickened with milk powder especially during winter and spring, when the production decreases.
Instead, the director of the National Sanitary-Veterinary Food Safety has the opposite view, believing that this practice does not exist.
Details about the nutritional value of milk powder, and the response of one of the largest milk processors in the country – you find within the newspaper pages.
