The România Liberă reads today:"The best paid doctors in Romania".
The newspaper has gathered opinions coming from several residents in different medical areas and reaches the conclusion that future doctors choose specialties that allow them to be hired in private clinics where good money are earned and the schedule is easy to cope with.
The salary of a beginner ranges from 250 to 2500 euros, depending on specialty, he best rated and financially rewarded being dentistry and gynecology. Areas such as neurosurgery or cardiovascular surgery no longer enjoy a great interest because they require many years of practice.
Still on the medicine topic, but on patients this time, together with the Jurnalul Naţional, which raises the question:"Is religion above life?"
The article refers to a young woman in Baia Mare, severely injured after a road accident and whose parents have refused blood transfusion on grounds of faith.
The newspaper puts in balance the liberty of conscience of the patient, defended by the provisions of the human rights law and the liberty of decision of the doctor, who could choose to ignore the first one in order to save the patient’s life. Such a liberty is so far a legislative initiative.
We conclude the press review with an homage brought by most newspapers today to the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs.
The death of a genius"gone to take the apple back to Heaven", the Adevărul reads.
Not less than 4 pages depict in words the main stages in the life of the visionary, who marked the lives of millions of people.
Also, reactions coming from several personalities are recorded, coming from its field, but also from music, business and politics.
The Evenimentul Zilei reads about the"Match-maker, the hippie, the rebel, the innovator and the businessman" Steve Jobs, turned by its children into a family man, who is leaving behind a legacy of 8.3 billion dollars, amount materialized from a simple wish of the Apple founder:
"I want to go home and lay my head on the pillow, happy that I made something extraordinary every day".
These are the words of Steve Jobs, quoted by the mentioned newspaper.
