Under the front-page headline,"Wages and pensions freeze in 2012", the Jurnalul Naţional explains that this is one of the options considered, that has a high degree of probability.
The publication looks over the declarations made by the officials in Bucharest during the last days concerning the budget for the next year and the measures that should be taken in order to get to a certain deficit.
Also, the author pertains to the affirmations made by the president Traian Băsescu who mentions"the necessity of another year of austerity" and who makes a comparison between the Romanian economic powers and those from the European level.
"The government sabotaged by its own senators", the România Liberă writes.
The newspaper refers to the Welfare Law which could have been implicit adopted on 3 November and exposes the causes and the effects of this situation. Furthermore, the article notes who leaves the room during the debates and makes a synthesis of the content of the normative act project.
"The Ponta tandem-Prime Minister- the president is not forever", the Evenimentul Zilei reveals in an exclusive interview with the President of the National Council of The Social Democrat Party, Adrian Năstase.
He speaks about the Liberal Social Union (USL) plan for the presidential elections in the year 2014, about the challenges of such campaign and also about his political opponents.
During the interview, Adrian Năstase denies the existence of a separating strategy from the Conservatory Party after the discussions arisen in USL related to the lists of candidates for the local elections, and believes that a solution will be found in order to put an end to this situation.
Also the Evenimentul Zilei writes about the"Confusion at the census, take the Social Security number, do not take the Social Security number" and about the censors who have to return on the field to obtain the Social Security number from the persons who did not declare it.
The same topic can be found in the Adevărul, where we can read about the account of the census process andabout the problems encountered by the censors.
The publication also presents the opinion of the chief of the National Institute of Statistics about the necessity of declaring the Social Security number, and about giving the sack to the spokesperson of the institution as a consequence to his declarations that quote"would have encouraged people to not tell their Social Security number at the census".
