NASA - the first flight of a drone on a planet other than Earth

The US space agency, NASA, has announced that it launched a drone on the planet Mars for the first time, an achievement that it hopes will transform the way planets can be explored.
The BBC quotes chief pilot Havard Grip as saying: "Altimetric data confirm that Ingenuity made its first flight, the first flight of a self-propelled aircraft on another planet."
The flight lasted only 40 seconds. Ingenuity is a small helicopter with two rotors which rose 3 meters above the surface of Mars. The rotors had to spin very fast due to the less dense atmosphere on Mars.
NASA's Martian rover, Perseverence, transmitted a video of the flight to Earth.
