The first multicultural center for people affected by the crisis in Ukraine was inaugurated by the Romanian Red Cross, yesterday, in the capital.
Made with the support of the National Red Cross of the Republic of Korea, the center will be open from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 18:00, and eligible people will have access to the services offered based on an appointment, explained the general director of the Romanian Red Cross, Silviu Lefter.
Silviu Lefter: I opened it for the children of refugees from Ukraine, first of all. Children come here who, together with our volunteers and some volunteer translators, do different activities specific to their age. Of course, parents who can benefit from psychological support from Red Cross volunteers are also welcome. We also give them a hot meal. I'm glad we managed to see them smile. It is not easy for them to be away from home.
