Most children in Romania eat sweets daily

Two out of three children eat sweets daily, and 30% do not eat fruit every day - according to a study.
In addition to important information about children's eating habits and education in Romania, the research aims to sound the alarm that the wrong eating habits that parents pass on to their children is a national emergency, due to the long-term health effects on the little ones.
Of those surveyed, significant percentages say they almost always have sweets (41%), semi-finished products (31 percent) and soft drinks (19%) at home. The study was conducted between August 25 and September 5, on a nationally representative sample of 800 people, the error being +/- 3.5%.
