More than half of the houses don’t have drainage
The number of households with tap water increased, but less than half of the population is not connected to the drainage system, according to INS.

The number of households with tap water increased, but less than half of the population is not connected to the drainage system - shows the latest statistics published by the National Statistics Institute.
The green areas in cities and the streets length increased, but decreased the amount of gas and heat supplied to the population.
In 2012, the heat supply to Ocna Muresului, Magurele and Rosiorii de Vede stopped.
Compared to year 2011, were delivered last year one million three hundred thousand Gcal less.
Also, regarding the natural gas, distributed to the population, the consumption dropped by more than 883 million cubic meters.
The length of gas distribution increased, though, with over a thousand miles, reaching 36 thousand.
The length of streets and green areas spaces increased, as parks, public gardens, playgrounds for children, sports fields.
The length water distribution network increased by 2,400 kilometers, however, only 44 percent of population is connected to drainage.
The figures, released Thursday, are provisional and will be recalculated according to the latest census, published two weeks ago, informs the National Institute of Statistics.
