More than a thousand people admitted to Intensive Care Units

The number of people with severe forms of COVID-19 who are hospitalized in Intensive Care exceeded 1.000, a situation that has not been recorded since the first part of May, 2021.
According to data centralized by the health authorities, yesterday, at national level, 32 ICU beds were available, of which 5 in Bucharest. We are working to operationalize and provide the necessary medical staff for other places, but they will be available in the coming days. However, emphasis is placed on those for people with certain conditions that may increase the risk factor in case of infection with SARs-CoV-2.
