More than 87.000 people passed through border checkpoints

Over 87.000 people, Romanian and foreign citizens, have passed through checkpoints throughout the country.
There were about 40.000 people on the way in, with over 14.000 means of transport.
The border with Hungary remains the busiest, with over 30.000 people, of whom about 13.000 were on the way in.
The Border Police announced that they are working at the maximum capacity allowed by the crossing point infrastructure.
traffic runs smoothly, with no waiting time. The institution recommends the use of all points open to international traffic, in order to avoid congestion.
On the other hand, police sanctioned over 30 illegal deeds, the value of the fines amounting to approximately 7.000 lei.
110 foreign citizens could not enter the country because they did not meet the legal conditions.
