Money "offered to voters"

In Galati County, several people are currently being investigated for allegedly trying to offer sums of money to voters in the city of Tecuci to persuade them to vote with a certain candidate.

The police were notified that on a terrace in the city two people offer sums of money to influence the peoples' vote. On the spot, both the person who made the complaint and those suspected of offering money were identified.

All of them, together with witnesses, were taken to the police headquarters for questioning and a criminal case was drawn up for committing the crimes of voter corruption and threat.
