Ministry of National Defense: Possible drone fragments in Galati county

Possible drone fragments were reported on Friday to 112 near the Giurgiulesti Border Crossing Point in Galati county, in an uninhabited area, the Ministry of Defense reports.
The area has been secured by the military and gendarmes, and on Saturday a joint team of specialists from several institutions will carry out on-site investigations and the fragments will be collected for forensic examination.
The area under investigation is located about 500 meters from the border with Moldova, in an extravilan area, with no infrastructure elements affected, the Defense Ministry added.
