The Ministry of Health was asked by the Ministry of Education to decide whether protective masks can be taken off by students during the baccalaureate exam.
The statement was made today, on Radio Romania News, by the Minister of Education Monica Anisie.
The dignitary specified that the point of view of the health specialists would complement the norms in force at present.
They stipulate the obligation to wear a mask in closed public spaces, and therefore in schools.
Monica Anisie: In the procedure we are developing for the national exam, we asked the Ministry of Health for an opinion regarding the fact that during that period, when the student takes the exam, so only when the student is in the exam room, he should be able to take off his mask. We are waiting for the point of view of the Ministry of Health and the procedure for the exam, in which both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health will determine the way the exam will be taken.
Monica Anisie also stated that, at the end of this week, she hopes that the masks that will be purchased by the Ministry of Education will take the direction of the county inspectorates, given that education officials want all students to have protective masks when resuming school.
