Romanian Minister of Defense, Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă, has continued on Monday, November 25, the series of meetings with the Ambassadors accredited in Bucharest, in the context of strengthening bilateral defense cooperation.
Visit to the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense (MApN) of Ambassador of the French Republic in Bucharest, Ms.Michele Ramis, has been a good opportunity to discuss issues of common interest regarding cooperation with France, both from a bilateral perspective, in an allied context and in the context of the European Union. Talks highlighted the importance of Romania-France Strategic Partnership and the perspectives of deepening cooperation in the field of defense, as essential elements for the security and stability of Romania and its region in the current security context, states MApN in a press release.
Minister of National Defense and Ambassador of the United Mexican States in Romania, José Guillermo Ordorica Robles, have discussed the prospects of developing bilateral defense cooperation relations, with an emphasis on naval cooperation. The two officials reviewed the elements of common interest regarding the international security situation, agreeing on the need to strengthen cooperation, to ensure peace.
