Multinational Military Exercise Black Sea Rotational Force 13 ended Thursday at Mihail Kogalniceanu.
Over 1,000 Romanian soldiers and about 600 soldiers from Bulgaria, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and the U.S. held for six months an extensive exercise in several countries of the Black Sea, Balkan and Caucasus regions, including Romania .
The deployment locations in Romania were Bucharest, Craiova Dej, Babadag, Pitesti, Fagaras, Constanta and of course Mihail Kogalniceanu.
The exercise is the fourth edition and has been led by the Marine Corps deployed in Europe and the United States and aimed at increasing the interoperability between participating nations military and, within the exercise, were provided specific training activities before deploying to theaters of operations, performance patrol in the area of responsibility and security objectives, the response and action in situations of entry into an ambush.
Also, specialized seminars were organized in logistics, operations, civil-military cooperation as wel as the development of NCOs body, attended by about 60 Romanian and foreign NCOs of NATO member and partner countries.
