Mihai Busuioc: new President of the Romanian Court of Accounts
Mihai Busuioc replaces former Prime Minister Nicolae Văcăroiu (who held this position since October 2008) and will have a nine-year term.

Mihai Busuioc was appointed President of the Romanian Court of Accounts after a majority vote in the plenary of the Romanian Parliamentary Assembly.
Mihai Busuioc replaces former Prime Minister Nicolae Văcăroiu (who held this position since October 2008) and will have a nine-year term.
Mihai Busuioc is currently the Government’s Secretary General. Prior to that, he was a Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Development, at a time when Liviu Dragnea owned the portfolio.
Nicu Marcu is the new Vice-President of the Court of Accounts.
