A meeting between PSD and USR leaders took place this afternoon, during which they discussed about a pro-European parliamentary majority and the solutions to achieve a government that supports these values, writes Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu in a post on the internet.
The President of the Social Democratic Party says that he will also meet with the leaders of the other political parties who have already announced that they want to be part of a government formula that will continue Romania's development, using European money, and adds that it is essential to keep Romania on its current course, alongside the European Union, NATO and in the Schengen area.
Marcel Ciolacu reaffirms that he will seek to apply the message conveyed by Romanians in the elections, which, in his opinion, is that ''the European path of our country must continue only by defending much more resolutely the traditional values, national identity and faith of this nation.''
