Prosecutors of Braşov Court have already delivered new restraint Ordinances on behalf of nine persons investigated in the case investigation concerning employees from CFR suspect would have formed a network that collected money from travellers without ticket and shared with their superiors of the railway company, said Prosecutor spokesman Brasov, Alina Popescu.

The subject of allegations relating to bribery, giving bribes, crimes provided for by Law 78/2000, assigning to the Commission of offences, not intended for public disclosure of information in order to obtain a useful material.

All these offences are investigated in a far-reaching instrumented by Prosecutor of Braşov Court , the investigation lasts about a year.

According to the spokesperson, have been used special techniques of investigation for documenting a criminal activities carried out in a hierarchical scale, the train conductor, head of training, inspector and auditor.

About 200 people "involved" in this case

Director general of CFR passengers, Stefan Roşeanu, said to have involved about 200 people, including the control of the company.

Each year, about one-third of passengers travelling by train in Romania, without ticket, which leads to the annual damage between 100 and 150 million lei by not cashing tickets, estimated the head of the CFR, which admits that the phenomenon is one that perpetuates from the historical times, but that is hard to dispute.

"In some cases, we have also introduced filters in stations. I could not keep standing on various technical explanations, they've reintroduced, I stopped trains in the roadmap, to see what happens with travellers who are in them, and we had specific cases. Of the 400 passengers on the train, only 100 had tickets. So 75% occupancy was no ticket. Does not mean that all trains constantly go with 30% occupancy without ticket. There are some that go a little better, others that go wrong, but you know well that at all times we are forced to suspend trains, so not to provide transport of our citizens, because we do not cover the costs, "said Stefan Roşianu.

"Should be punished and those who give bribes, not just those who pick it up"

One of the CFR Union leaders believes that none of the approximately 2,400 conductors and heads of train operating in the country is no stranger to practice small attention, which make them to close their eyes to travel without ticket and says that they were in dense rows reminded about the danger of losing work especially that almost three-quarters of the employees of the railways are unique material supporters of their families.

The President of the Federation of the Trade Union Movement-Commercial, Gheorghe Frăţică, draws attention and that should be punished and those who give bribes, not just those who take, train controllers.

The atmosphere in the Gara de Nord is very tense Thursday.

Our colleague, Adrian Cristea attempted to hang out with a few train controllers, but in almost two hours, no one was willing to exchange a few words even under the protection of anonymity, much less try to explain how it would operate such a network that suspect prosecutors and about who George Frăţica acknowledges that it is possible to work.
