The government's obligation is to protect people's health, amid a worrying increase in the number of COVID-19 cases, says Prime Minister Ludovic Orban.
He assured that the closure of markets is a temporary measure, and local authorities will come up with solutions for agricultural producers.
Ludovic Orban: The measures we have put in place are precisely created to reduce the spread of the virus by limiting certain activities. There are decisions that will affect certain categories of people. I apologize to them, but we must take these measures because not taking any action would be an act of irresponsibility.
