Ludovic Orban: Romania will support EU's Strategic Agenda

RRA Special Envoy to Brussels, Petruţa Obrejan: Romania will support promotion of EU Strategic Agenda, Prime Minister Orban assured the President of the European Council, Charles Michel. An agenda that aims, in addition to protecting citizens and freedoms, to build a fair and green Europe in terms of climate impact, but also to promote European interests and values in the world.

Also this afternoon, Prime Minister was welcomed by Michel Barnier, Chief EU Negotiator for Brexit. The latter stressed the importance of the withdrawal agreement, in particular in terms of protecting the rights of citizens, while explaining that dialogue and transparency remain essential for the European project.
Prime Minister Orban also said that protecting the rights of citizens remains a priority on the agenda of the Bucharest Government, and that the future partnership with the UK must be ambitious, balanced and must take into account issues beyond the commercial and economic framework.
