List of countries / areas with high epidemiological risk

The list of countries / areas with high epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is instituted for people arriving in Romania from them has been updated and published on the website of the National Institute of Public Health.
It came into force on Monday and includes 41 states, compared to the previous one, which included 44 such "yellow zones".
The updated list no longer includes states such as Mexico, Russia, Serbia or Azerbaijan.
According to the National Institute of Public Health, the countries for which a 14-day quarantine is required are:

* Saudi Arabia
* Argentina
* Armenia
* Bahamas
* Bahrain
* Bolivia
* Bosnia and Herzegovina
* Brazil
* Cape Verde
* Chile
* Columbia
* Costa Rica
* El Salvador
* Eswatini
* Equatorial Guinea
* Honduras
* Turks and Caicos Islands
* United States Virgin Islands
* Iraq
* Israel
* Kazakhstan
* Kyrgyzstan
* Kosovo
* Kuwait
* Luxembourg
* Northern Macedonia
* Maldives
* Moldova
* Montenegro
* Oman
* Palestine
* Panama
* Peru
* Puerto Rico
* Qatar
* Dominican Republic
* Singapore
* Sint Maarten
* United States of America
* Suriname
Quarantine in the case of those coming from these countries is established at the person's home, at a location declared by them or, as the case may be, in a special space designated by the authorities. Quarantine is recommended for all people living at the same address.
The list of countries or areas for which the quarantine measure is instituted is updated weekly, every Monday, by the National Institute of Public Health and is published on the their website.
