The Senate leadership will consider tomorrow USR's requests for Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and Agriculture Minister Florin Barbu to give explanations in plenary on the slowdown in economic growth, the rise in food prices or how farmers' demands have been met.
Parliament is also expected to vote on several bills.
A bill to set up educational and detention centres for minors in all eight of the country's development regions awaits a final vote in the Chamber of Deputies, as the decision-making body.
These units will operate as institutions subordinate to the National Administration of Penitentiaries, specialising in social rehabilitation and the treatment and reintegration of convicted people addicted to psychoactive substances.
Plenary sessions are also scheduled in the coming days in the Senate, where the agenda includes a proposal to oblige police officers to check ex officio whether employees of educational and health establishments include people on the sex offences register.
If the facts are confirmed, the employment or voluntary work of the persons concerned will cease immediately.
In the Senate, the leadership bureau will also consider tomorrow USR's requests for Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu to explain at Prime Minister's Hour why Romania has become the EU's inflation leader, and for Agriculture Minister Florin Barbu to come to Government Hour to answer to what extent farmers' demands have been met and how he justifies high food prices or the intention to remove own-brand products from shops.
