Romanian Government has held, on Friday, its last session of this year. Ministers adopted a normative act that allows money unused so far under the National Plan for Local Development (PNDL 1) to be used by 2020 under PNDL2, which funds local public authorities for ongoing projects.
Executive has also decided to continue the evaluation of the companies that want to receive money for their own development through the state aid scheme and has also established the methodological norms for granting of meal, holiday and other vouchers.
Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă stressed that Regional Development Ministry attracted 876 million Euros from European funds for projects in the fields of Healthcare, Education, Historical Monuments and Construction of County Roads.
She added that 2014-2020 Regional Operational Program was revised to avoid risk of disengagement, and the areas that have been funded were acquisition of ambulances, construction of schools and kindergartens and support of small and medium-sized enterprises.
As Prime Minister also pointed out, Eurostat reports of December 20 show that Romania is the first in the European Union in the production of corn and sunflower and reminded that at the end of last week, the European Commission transferred to Romania 306 million Euros representing the money the Romanian State has financed projects included in the National Rural Development Program.
