Articol de Radiojurnal, 30 Martie 2021, 22:04
President Klaus Iohannis considers demonstrations and protests to be natural, legitimate and part of the structure of any functioning democracy, but describes as unacceptable violent manifestations, extremism and xenophobia, hidden behind riots against measures to protect the lives and health of everyone.
In a press release, the head of state strongly condemned any attempt to politically capture the protests in order to turn them into vectors of hatred, xenophobia and anti-Semitism and added that politicians, regardless of their party, have a huge responsibility in these difficult times for Romania.
The President of Romania reiterated that the only ways to stop the pandemic are restrictions and vaccination.
