K. Iohannis is attending the Eastern Partnership Summit

President Klaus Iohannis will attend the Eastern Partnership Summit tomorrow in a videoconference.
The debates will focus on cooperation and solidarity in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, reaffirming the strategic importance of the Eastern Partnership, as well as the long-term objectives of this initiative.
The head of state will advocate for a policy of engagement of the European Union in its eastern neighborhood, which can become, through progress of partner states in the field of reforms, a stable, predictable and prosperous space.
The meeting will be attended by Heads of State and Government from the 27 Member States of the European Union and the six partner states in the region: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
