Justice Minister calls for urgent adoption of draft laws on combating drug trafficking and consumption

RADOR RADIO ROMANIA (27 January) - Justice Minister Alina Gorghiu calls for urgent adoption of draft laws on combating drug trafficking and consumption.
She called on her parliamentary colleagues to treat the phenomenon of drug trafficking seriously and to debate as a matter of priority the three legislative initiatives aimed at curbing the consumption of banned substances.
These are the draft on the establishment of a register of drug dealers, the draft on the establishment of regional centres for the detoxification and rehabilitation of drug addicts, and the draft known as '2 May', which bans suspended sentences for drug dealers.
