Infrastructure projects of national interest in Romania

Romanian Government approved on Tuesday transfer of major infrastructure projects from the Forecast Commission to Ministries with authority on the matter.

According to Ionel Dancă, Head of Prime Minister's Chancellery, major infrastructure projects of national interest will be unlocked. These include Ploieşti - Brașov Highway, Unirii Highway, Bucharest’s Subway 7 or Bucharest South Airport.

Projects have been stagnant for a long time for the completion of public-private partnership procedures, which had no chance of being realized, said Ionel Dancă, according to Rador.
