The government adopted yesterday an emergency ordinance on the COVID digital certificate, which will be used by those who want to travel to European Union countries.
The term of validity of the certificate is one year for those who have been vaccinated, and a few hours for those who have done a rapid or PCR test.
The emergency ordinance adopted by the Government stipulates that, from tomorrow, people wishing to travel in the European Union must use a digital certificate, indicating whether they are vaccinated against COVID-19 or if they are healthy.
The certificate will be downloaded from the Internet by people who have been vaccinated, those who have had the virus, and those who have negative results of rapid or PCR tests.
The Minister of Health, Ioana Mihaila, specified that the validity term of the certificate is one year for those vaccinated and a few hours for those who have anti-COVID tests.
Ioana Mihaila: The certificates issued are valid as follows: vaccination certificates until June 30, 2022, test certificates - 24 hours for the fast antigen test and 72 hours for the Real Time PCR test, and the cure certificates - 180 days from the date of the first positive result registered in the computer platform Corona Forms.
People who do not have access to the internet can obtain the COVID digital certificate from the town hall, from the Population Registration Directorate and from Public Health Directorates.
