In 24 hours, the Mountain Rescue national dispatch center (Salvamont) received 22 calls requesting emergency intervention, most of them for rescuers from Gorj, Lupeni, Voineasa and Maramures.
In the case of these actions, 23 people were saved, eight of whom were handed over to the ambulance or SMURD crews for transport to the hospital.
According to information posted on a social network, 36 calls were received requesting information about different tourist routes in the mountain area.
