Media experts from Europe and Asia have come together in Bucharest for a conference entitled "Media 2020" 'Bringing Media to the future'.
Staged jointly by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and Radio Romania the event will be focusing on the way in which the media, particularly the radio industry, will be developing in the following five years.
Tonight in the honour of the invitees, the Concert Hall of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation hosted an extraordinary concert given by the National Radio Orchestra, under the baton of conductor Gabriel Bebeselea, having as soloist cellist Razvan Suma.
Reporter George Galea has been to the concert and talked to one of the invitees:
Reporter: Toshiyuki Sato is secretary general of Public Broadcasting International and is also working for the Japanese public radio.
Toshiyuki Sato: Sadly, I was late a little bit and missed the last part of Gershwin's Ouverture, but listened to very carefully to Gulda cello concerto, which was very interesting. Both the quality of music and sound were excellent. As for the soloist of your orchestra, Razvan Suma, he is a very good cellist.
