Immunization with AstraZeneca begins on Monday.
The pace of the immunization campaign is expected to increase. Another 180 vaccination offices will be opened, at national level, in which the vaccine produced by AstraZeneca will be administered to people in stages 1 and 2 of the campaign, aged between 18 and 55.
Nearly 40.000 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered since yesterday, most being booster doses.
Almost 370.000 people have already received the serum needed to achieve the maximum immunization effect, representing more than half of the people who arrived at the vaccination centers.
