Ileana Ţăroi, RRI, Knight of the French National Order of Merit

Ileana Ţăroi, Francophone journalist and coordinator of the French section of Radio Romania International (RRI) was decorated with the National Order of Merit (Ordre National du Mérite) in Knight Rank, at a ceremony at the French Embassy in Bucharest.

This high decoration of the French State was handed to RRI Journalist Ileana Ţăroi by Her Excellency Michèle Ramis, Ambassador of France to Romania, in recognition of her work.

"Your ongoing work in favor of Francophony and quality journalism that we reward today is also that of the French section of Radio Romania International. The quality of your broadcasts, their variety and their rich and renewed content deserve to be known and recognized", Ambassador Michèle Ramis said.
