On Easter, weather will be instable, says Gabriela Băncilă from the National Administration of Meteorology (ANM).

“There will be rain again in all regions. In other words, we count on a milder thermal regime than it was on Palm Sunday, when in north and center of the country, in some areas, the maximum temperatures did not overcome 4-6°C.

“For Sunday, it seems the maximum temperatures will be around 11-12°C and at most 18°C”, also specified Gabriela Băncilă.

"The precipitation from last days are though auspicious”, sustains the ANM representative.

After a historic November, the driest month since there are measurements in Romania, the soil water reserve was restored only in the winter months that followed.

March, though, was a dry month, so that there are areas in Romania at this moment where there is again moderate or severe pedological drought.

“These precipitations are auspicious for farmers, but they will have to be careful the next days, in the following mornings with frost, because it can affect some harvests”, has declared Gabriela Băncilă.

The meteorologists draw attention that the temperature continues to be low within the next period, with temperatures which go down even until -9°C at night, the values being much lower than those normal in the middle of spring.

Suceava and Botoşani, affected by the unfavorable weather

Suceava and Botoşani are still affected by unfavorable weather from the last days, which provoked traffic jams and electric energy interruption in many places.

The yellow code warning, valid for 20 counties in center, north and east of the country, has expired at 3 p.m. o’clock and it was not prolonged anymore.

The most important problems are in this moment in Suceava County.

After a snowing weekend, the snow layer on some areas is about 3-5 cm complicated the situation.

Due to the fact that cars don’t have anymore winter tires and authorities seen themselves into a very delicate situation since the contracts with the snow removal firms have ended at the end of March.

In this respect, the prefect of Suceava has appealed at the National Company of Highways and Roads.

The five supplied equipments proved though to be insufficient.

It is not very clear who settles these interventions.

The restrictions for trucks are still valid.

In Botoşani, many localities don’t have anymore electricity.

In all this respect, the meteorologists declare that the weather fluctuations are characteristic to this season.

Major differences in temperature from a day to another could appear also within the next weeks, without snow instead, as were those in the last hours.
