Hotel of Ice at Bâlea Lake officially opened
In winter, Bâlea Lake can only be reached by cable car.

Hotel of Ice at Bâlea Lake has officially been opened on Saturday, 10 February, in the presence of Canada’s Ambassador to Romania, Bulgaria and Republic of Moldova, Kevin Hamilton.
This year, the theme of this unique construction in Romania is Music.
The 16 rooms and three igloos are decorated with ice sculptures of well-known Romanian and international artists such as Madonna, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley.
One night accommodation costs 100 euros. In winter, Bâlea Lake can only be reached by cable car.
