Public Health Department inspectors took Wednesday morning samples of abstraction wells on the outskirts of Brateş, where Wednesday were found more bones of animals, horses and sheep.

DSP Galati will get the results of water samples within 48 hours.

Public Health Department monitors also the possible risks to the population, as the place where the animal bones were found is near the spot of recreational beach Brateş.

However, the representatives of the Sanitary Veterinary Galati said that the measure of burning the animal bones was taken, after they were collected in the area.

Initially, it was considered the burying of bones, since they were in a ravine, difficult to access, but later it was decided to gather and incinerate, in order to eliminate all risks of disease.

In parallel, Galati police seek the individuals who have sacrificed animals and threw the debris in the ravine. If the authors are found, they are likely to go to jail.

Recall that on Wednesday, the local authorities have been alerted about the existence of several animal remaining - bodies and bones - found in a ravine near the recreation area Beach Lake Brateş.

The investigation ruled by representatives of the Police, Environmental Guard, ISU, the Sanitary Veterinary and Public Health Department is coordinated by the Prefect, Emanoil Bocaneanu.
