Hexi Pharma has been convicted on Wednesday and has to pay a fine of 2.6 million lei for several criminal offences, such as use of forgery and denial of disease control, according to a sentence of Bucharest Court.
Court has decided to dissolve the company and maintain a number of preventive measures against it.
Also, Bucharest Court ordered the company to pay amounts of money to dozens of hospitals and decided to seize company assets.
Flori Dinu, Hexi Pharma Director General, is sentenced to three years imprisonment with execution, and Mihai Leva, Hexi Pharma Director of Production, is sentenced to three years and eight months imprisonment.
Decision is not final and can be appealed.
