Hearings in a case of human trafficking in Brasov
According to prosecutors, the group members were recruiting girls and women, some of them minor, whom they determined through various means to prostitute.

25 people will be heard today at DIICOT Brasov, in a file opened for human trafficking, extortion and drug trafficking.
Brasov DIICOT Prosecutors, together with officers of the Organised Crime Bureaus in Brasov, Mures, Ploiesti, Pitesti, Constanta, along with police and gendarmes from Brasov have made this morning 30 searches at the homes of those suspected of offenses to constitute a criminal group specializing in extortion, drug trafficking and human trafficking by taking a practice run prostitution.
Monitoring the group members, between March-July 2013, has led to shape the way they act.
Some of the suspects were dealing with introduction of drugs in Romania, distributed subsequently across several counties.
The drugs were brought primarily from Italy and brought into the country in different ways.
On the line of human trafficking, the group members recruited girls and women, some of them minor, whom determined through various means (deception, threat and violence) to prostitute into their benefit, both in Romania - Fagaras County and abroad, namely Switzerland, Germany and Italy.
