High blood pressure, breast, thyroid or cervical cancer, heart and gastroenterological diseases, and diabetes are diseases that some of the inhabitants of the villages in Botosani county have discovered by chance. Hundreds of people were consulted for free this week by specialist doctors through the "Health for villages" campaign organized by the Romanian Patriarchate and the Ministry of Health.
The doctors who were part of the caravan that has so far passed through 8 counties have consulted thousands of people from villages and small towns, who do not have access to modern equipment and specialized investigations in the localities where they live, in order to discover in time diseases that can become serious if not treated early.
