Greece makes a final attempt to form a government and to avoid new legislative elections in June.
President, Karolos Papoulias, summoned the leaders of the parliamentary parties in consultations.
The President will be asked political leaders to strive in order to contribute to the formation of a government which would enjoy the support of the parliament resulting from the elections of May 6.
If neither this last attempt is recovered, it will be necessary to create a government endowed with the powers of a new election within 30 days.
Meanwhile, a poll for the daily newspaper, Tovima indicates an increase in favour of the coalition of radical left in comparison to other parties, which recorded a significant drop in the preferences of the electorate.
The same poll shows that the population wants the country to remain in the eurozone in proportion to 78,1 per cent , while 72 per cent of respondents consider to form a government, it is necessary to find a compromise.
Central banks in Europe have already taken into account the possibility for Greece to leave eurozone and explore how they cope with the consequences.
Germany's Central Bank Governor said that Athens will no longer receive the following tranches of the aid unless it honours its commitments.
