Government meeting agenda

Articol de Radiojurnal, 23 Martie 2022, 12:44

In today's meeting, the Government will approve a series of measures regarding a better management of the activity at the Ministry of Research and at the Romanian Digitization Authority.

The revenue and expenditure budgets for several state-owned companies will also be approved and the president of the National Office for Preventing and Combating Money Laundering will be appointed.

A task force at the level of the Ministry of Research will be set up to implement and monitor reforms and investments in digital transformation.

Within this structure, 17 specialists with individual employment contracts will be employed, for a determined period, respectively during the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

According to the substantiation note, the professional performances of these specialists will be evaluated every 6 months, with the possibility of terminating the employment contract, if the provided criteria are not met.

The ministers will also make amendments and additions to some normative acts in the field of European funds, taking into account the need to make financial adjustments with the state budget, especially since the pre-accession programs - Phare, ISPA, Sapard - have been closed or are in the final stages of closing with the European Commission.

Also today, the government is to approve by decision the appointment of Adrian Cucu, in the position of president of the National Office for Prevention and Combating Money Laundering.

He will have the rank of Secretary of State and a four-year term.
