They came to the meeting with a very large audience.
Among the notables include Norman Manea, Ana Blandiana, Matei Vişniec, Savatie Baştovoi, Bogdan Suceavă, Bujor Nedelcovici, Mircea Dinescu, George Banu or Marta Petreu.
There have been made available to lovers of literature more than 1,000 titles in Romanian and more than 600 in French.
Sales of books from over 60,000 euros from Romanian stand are good, according to French booksellers.
Some of the writers of the books invited officially have sold better than expected.
The top 3 were Gabriela Adamesteanu , Răzvan Radulescu and Norman Manea.
At this year's salon, success was enjoyed as well by those over 60 professional meetings, debates and round tables, in which the audience participates every time in large numbers.
Opportunity, so that Romania had, to be invited at the Book Salon, it was certainly a special one, manifesting itself, so, on the one hand, by the sheer number of books sold, and on the other, by the quality of debate.
After Thursday's inaugural, marked by an incident, the rest of the day, everyone's attention was focused on literature, culture, and art in general and the interest and curiosity have characterized those who stopped at the stand.
