Gold and silver for Romania in the fourth day of OG 2012
Alin Moldoveanu won Romania's first gold medal at the Olympic Games in London in the compressed air rifle-10 m. Judoka Corina Căprioriu gets silver at the 57 kg category.

Romania won the first Olympic title Monday at the Olympics Games from London with Alin George Moldoveanu who has won the gold medal in the compressed air rifle 10 m probe.
Romanian athlete, who in qualifier, equaled the Olympic record with 599 points, gained a final score of 702.1 points, managing to win the first gold medal for Romania at this edition of the OG.
For Romania it is the second medal in total, after Alina Dumitru won the silver medal in judo.
The Romanian has passed the world champion, the Italian Niccolo Campriani 701.5 points, and in third place was Narang Gagan, rolled with 701.1 points.
With two silver medals and one gold, Romania is ranked 10 in the general classification on medals at the Olympic Games in London.
George Alin Moldoveanu was born on March 5, 1983 in Focşani.
At the Olympic Games in Beijing, he was ranked 4th in the rifle of 10 m with compressed air.
Other performances of his career, in addition to the medal taken Monday in London, are the silver medal at the World Championships in Zagreb in 2006, and a bronze at the European from Gyor, Hungary since 2004.

The Romanian was penalised in extra time, when the score was 0-0.
Corina Căprioriu, was being penalized for alleged match-stepped outside the mat, so the final was cut from arbiters.
Corina Căprioriu is a silver medalist, the second to Romania in judo, and the third at the Olympics in London 2012.
The rowers, Viorica Susanu and Georgeta Andrunache qualified in the OG final
The female double picture frames crew of Romania, composed of Viorica Susanu and Georgeta Andrunache, qualified for the final, after having occupied first place in requalifications.
The Romanian women took off on a 3 lane, along with Italy, Germany, China, South Africa and Argentina.
In the series, Romania finished in third place, with the third time of the qualifications, 7: 05.39 minutes.
The final probe in which qualified also Germans, will take place on Wednesday.
Romania, without swordsmen
The sworswoman Simona Gherman was removed Monday, in the quarterfinals of the sword probe by Yana Shemiakina (Ukraine), score of 15-14. The sportswoman from Ukraine had passed the group stage also by Ana Maria Brânză..
Still Monday, Anca Măroiu was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the epee probe by Shin a Lam of South Korea, 15-14 score.

Romania does not have any representative in the women's individual epee competition.
Tennis players, removed
The pair Horia Tecău/ Adrian Ungur was removed Monday in the first round of the men's doubles in tennis competition at the Olympic Games in London.
Horia Tecău and Adrian Ungur were defeated with the score 6-3, 7-6 (11/9), after an hour and 13 minutes, by the Canadian couple Daniel Nestor/Vasek Pospisil.
Table tennis player Elizabeth Samara has been eliminated, on Monday, in the final bracket of individual sample at the Olympic Games in London.
Elizabeta Samara was defeated by Dutch Jiao Li (39 years), head for serial number 12, with score 4-2 (11-5, 8-11, 13-11, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7).
Daniela Dodean was defeated on Sunday, by the Chinese Ding Ning, the favourite Olympic tournament for women with the score 4-0.
Romania has no representative in the women's individual competition table tennis.
