The future National Museum of the Revolution in Timisoara received a funding of 16 million euros, through a loan that Romania made to the Development Bank of the Council of Europe.
With this money, the museum would be completed in September.
A unique project in Romania, with holograms and many multimedia effects, with the intention of making visitors feel the atmosphere of the December 1989 Revolution, explains deputy Ben Oni Ardelean, one of the museum's initiators.
Ben Oni Ardelean: It will include a lot of videos and testimonials. It will be a unique museum, where we will see all kinds of holograms, images, sounds that we will be able to follow and that will make the visitor live the Revolution of '89.
Producer: The legislative proposal, initiated by Ben Oni Ardelean, for the establishment of the National Museum of the Revolution obtained, in April, the vote of the senators and is to be debated in the Chamber of Deputies, which is the decision-making body, Radio Romania Timisoara reports.
