French President Emmanuel Macron at the Cotroceni Palace

French President Emmanuel Macron has arrived, today, in Bucharest and has been welcomed by President Klaus Iohannis at the Cotroceni Palace.

The two Presidents will have a very open dialogue on developing and deepening the bilateral Strategic Partnership and addressing the main topics on the European international and security agenda.

Three documents will be signed by the Heads of the two countries: the Declaration of Intent in reference to the Romanian-French cooperation on common-interest European issues; Airbus Helicopter and IAR Braşov Agreement, and Memorandum of Understanding on the Ground Based Air Defense Systems for the Romanian Armed Forces.
