Free IT courses for 400 employees in the tourism industry

Almost 80 hotel units will be opened in the seaside resorts during the May 1st mini-holiday, and according to the Federation of Employers in the Hospitality Industry, more than 70.000 tourists are expected at the seaside. The success of a vacation also depends on the skill of those who work in hotels and restaurants. Almost 400 employees from the tourism industry from all over the country will benefit from free IT courses.
Reporter: Bogdan Comsa (Radio Romania Constanta) - The courses will take place within a project with European funds, and the main organizer is the Federation of Romanian Tourism Employers - FPTR. The courses cover areas such as cyber security, decision support systems or website development. Mihaela Mostavi, co-organizer, presented the project in Constanta, during a meeting with HoReCa operators.
Mihaela Mostavi: We offer three levels of digitization programs: basic, specialized, but also for specialists. They are authorized programs, and the participant, at the end of the course, comes into possession of a graduation certificate, which has the status of a certificate of studies.
The courses last between 10 and 30 days, two to four hours a day.
